Works
The title Venn Bodies is inspired by the concept of Venn diagrams, which are commonly used to illustrate complex relationships between different sets. Drawing on the German mathematician Georg Cantor's description of a set as a "many that is one", this performance considers each individual body as a single set — a vessel of cultural memory on stage.
In Venn Bodies, artists with different interests and backgrounds exchange their artworks and reinterpret one another's work through their own artistic perspectives, exploring the diverse relationships that emerge in the process.
The performance follows a parkour-inspired format, allowing the audience to move freely through the space while several performances unfold simultaneously at different locations on stage.
